Why are Peat and Perlite a good mix for growing marijuana?

These two ingredients, when combined, are the perfect soil mix for growing marijuana. The Peat moss holds water well, providing a firm base for your plant’s roots to grow and develop on. It is also very good at keeping air pockets under the soil’s surface, which allows more oxygen to reach your plant’s root system as it grows.

Perlite is also great at absorbing water and keeping air circulating in the growing soil, but it does not contain any organic matter, so you will need to add that separately. It will also make it easier for roots to spread out and grow in the growing medium, rather than staying relatively close to the soil’s surface as they would in a different growing medium like coco coir.

Finally, Peat and perlite have different pH levels, which means that they will not change the acidity of your growing medium as much as other soil mixes would.
